This weekend begins the Crownings(Domingas) of the Holy Spirit at the 10:00am Mass. There are seven weeks of crownings, each family will bring two crowns to Mass and we have limited the family number to 10. Attached please find some documentation in regard to the actual crowning prayers and also some history of the Festival and Crownings of the Holy Spirit.
London/ St Thomas Retrouvaille is hoping to have an in-person weekend in London, that will adhere to the appropriate government mandated COVID-19 protocols, from April 9 to Sunday, April 11. Couples must register at www.retrouvaillelondon.com as space is limited and confidentiality is assured.
As Lent approaches, the CCCB has again produced a series of reflections for Ash Wednesday and the Sundays during Lent. Each Monday, a new video will be released for the upcoming Sunday on the website of the CCCB. We are grateful to Bishop Gerard Bergie of the Diocese of St. Catharines and Msgr. Marcel Damphousse, Archbishop of Ottawa, for providing these reflections for us.
This year, instead of handing out individual baby bottles, Fresh Start Support Services is hosting their Lent Baby Bottle Drive virtually. During Lent, donations can be made online by visiting their website at www.fsms.ca/babybottledrive, by sending an e-transfer to financials@fsms.ca or by mailing cash or cheque donations to Fresh Start at 118 Centre St., St. Thomas, ON N5R 2Z9 (please specify that the donation is for the baby bottle drive when mailing).
